 Capturing the American Spirit
A Century of Photography in America
1901 to 2001

Westwood Gallery presents an inspirational show of American achievement from the past century as captured through the lens of Pulitzer Prize winning photographers.

Included are such well-known images as Joseph Rosenthalís flag raising at Iwo Jima and Record photographer Thomas E. Franklinís picture of three firefighters raising a flag in the rubble of the World Trade Centers. The exhibit also features great unknowns, amateur and local photographs that document American life on a hometown level.

The Westwood Gallery is located at Broadway and Westwood Avenue. For more information call (201) 666-1800.
